Sharp is one of the Rochester native who studied clarinet in the Hochstein School of Music. She also played piano and cello. Sharp's passion for theatre during her high school years brought her to Boston Conservatory where she was given a scholarship. Cum Laude awarded Sharp a B.F.A. Sharp began her career on stage after graduating at the Conservatory. Sharp appeared in The Broadway National Tour of Carousel and debuted Off Broadway as Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. In the comedy that was interactive, Eat the Runt, she was a variety of characters. Sharp was also in Abyssinia and Aida and also Thunder Knockin Jitney as well as The Producers. She was even a read for August Wilson's Come and Gone. Apart from her roles in stage and screen, Sharp has several other original projects in the works she's co-written or written. Apart from performing, she is currently making an album. Sharp enjoys exercising. She keeps herself fit through training in boxing, learning Krav Maga, and taking long roadtrips. Sharp has a home in Los Angeles.
